PlayStation 3 Bluetooth Keyoard & Mouse
1. Compatibility
The PlayStation 3 supports all types, makes and models of Bluetooth wireless keyboards and mouses. Only one Bluetooth keyboard can be used at a time on the PS3.
Bluetooth:
The PlayStation 3 uses Bluetooth version 2.0, and is compatible with all earlier versions of the Bluetooth firmware. All makes and brands of Bluetooth keyboards have been confirmed to work with the PS3.
2. Setup
Your Bluetooth keyboard and or mouse must first be registered, or paired with your PS3 before you can use it. You need to make sure your Bluetooth keyboard is fully charged before you begin setting it up. Read your keyboards instructions for how to enter "pairing mode". Activate your keyboard "pairing mode" so it can be recognized by your PS3. On the XMB of your PS3 you need to go to the "Settings" tab, then scroll down into "Accessory Settings", then click on "Register Bluetooth Device". When your keyboard and or mouse is in pairing mode, follow the instructions and let your PS3 scan for your bluetooth keyboard. When your keyboard is discovered, follow the prompts and enter a pass key. The pairing of your keyboard should now be complete. After pairing your Bluetooth keyboard, you can now return to the XMB.

3. Troubleshooting
General: If you are having trouble with your keyboard after it is been paired with the PS3, please see the few things you can do below: Make sure that your keyboards battery is charged and is properly working. Be aware that some brands will need to be paired again after each time they have been recharged. Its not a problem with your keyboard, its just the way those particular models work. Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices in use near your PS3.
Always update your PS3 to the most current available firmware.
